Wearing Our Food...

Haley has started eating "solid" food now. We have mastered rice cereal, applesauce, bananas, and are working on sweet potatoes. This first picture is what baby sweet potatoes look like. The second is the rice cereal, a little less visible.=)

The No Fun, No Good, Very Bad Day....

We had to take Haley to the pediatric ER a couple of weeks ago as she was running a high fever. They had to do an IV to draw blood and give her fluids. She was such a trooper. It turned out she had a viral infection. We think some sort of stomach bug. After 2 rounds of antibiotics and a little fussiness, she was back to normal. Praise the Lord for protecting our sweet little girl. It was a scary time for us as first time parents, but His Grace is so sufficient.

Daddies Little Girl...

So, I walk into the great room one Sunday afternoon and find that my husband has positioned our daughter in his chair in the optimal TV viewing position. He was taking these pictures and I must admit it was quite cute...hehe=)

Here Comes the Bride!

One of my very best friends, Kim, got married on August 12th. I was one of her bridesmaid's and had lots of fun that weekend. Haley got to come to her first wedding when she was out of my tummy. She has already been in 2 while I was pregnant with her.=)

Haley Is 3 Months!!!

I can hardly believe our beautiful baby girl is already 3 months old. Her personality is starting to shine through.She's talking (she loves to hear herself talk...wonder where she gets that from) =), and laughing, and smiling all the time. Each day she changes and grows. She brings so much joy to our lives and is such a blessing from the Lord!

Who's It Gonna Be???

It seems that Haley has quite a few admierers already. We have several really good friends who have little boys and think it would be a great if she married one of them, that is if her daddy will let her get married.=) So here are 3 in the running... First, we have John David Gossett. He is already learning the tricks of the trade and romancing her by bringing her flowers. He seemed to be very interested in her and couldn't stop gazing into her big blue eyes and admiring her beautiful face. Haley is playing hard to get at this point. Or is it that she is 3 months old and is still working on holding her head up???hehe. So far John David has impressed us. On top of his romantic efforts, he's a BAMA fan. ROLL TIDE!!!=)
These next 2 boys are Will and Johnny Lamey. They are our pastor and his wifes(very close friends) 2 boys. Johnny just adores Haley and got to hold her just the other day. Will likes to look at her and occassionally says "baby". He has already picked that as her pet name apparently. These 2 boys would be great picks for Haley as well. It is going to be a tough decision in the end. But we know Haley will make a great choice in 30 years...hehe=)

Smiling From Ear to Ear...

Here are the cutest little smling pictures you've ever seen. We are finally starting to get some of her precious smiles on camera. She just melts our heart. She is also starting to talk alot..she's gonna be a talker..Gee I wonder where she gets that from.=)

Rub a Dub Dub Haley's in the Tub...

After 2 months, Haley is finally starting to enjoy bath time. As a matter of fact, she actually cried when we took her out of the tub this time. That's NEVER happened before. It's usually the exact opposite. She's growing up..hehe

4th of July at the Lake...

Haley's first 4th of July. We had so much fun at Pappy's lake house. She was such a trooper and spent the day up on the dock with all the family. How exciting!=)

Thank Goodness For the Sweet Seat...

This magical vibrating, bouncing, classical music/nature sound making seat is a life saver. Many a times we have captured some peaceful hands free moments by letting Haley enjoy looking out the back door in her fun sweet little seat. I wish I had one!=)

Our First "Play Date"

Some of our good friends, David and Emily Gossett, had a precious baby boy, John David, exactlly 2 weeks before Haley came into the world. We got to introduce the 2 little munchkins to each other and I think it was love at first sight. They were already trying to hold hands and I think John David may be trying to sooth Haley by letting her suck on his finger or maybe get something out of her teeth, oh wait she doesn't have teeth..hehe.=) Regardless, it was lots of fun and it will be fun to see them grow up together.

If the Shoe Fits...

Haley was finally able to wear her first pair of shoes. Her feet have been to small until now. Look how cute she is in her shoes. Oh just wait until you see all the cute shoes she has to wear.=)

Bottle Time

Daddy got to feed Haley a bottle for the first time. It was a lot of fun for both of them.

Haley is 5 Weeks Old!!

Haley is now 5 weeks old. It's so hard to believe! She is getting bigger each day. Tonight when Pop weighed her, she weighed 9lbs. even. It's so fun to watch her grow and change each day.


My 3rd grade class finally got to meet Haley Elizabeth. They had been praying for her all year and were so excited to get to see her sweet face.
Now this is the life!=)

We love our "Soothie" binky boo (aka pacifire). Where I came up with binky boo is a mystery. I'm sure the lack of sleep and early morning feedings played a part in the naming of the wonderful invention.=)

From First Baths to the Usual Naps...

Haley Elizabeth Hubbard is HERE!!!

Here I am at 3:15 Tuesday morning, waiting to be admitted to the hospital after my water broke at 2:45 on Tuesday Morning.
Here she is Haley Elizabeth Hubbard. She entered the world at 1:16p.m. on May 2, 2006. She weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz and was 20 inches long.

How cute is she!!! We can't get enough of her.

7 Month Belly Shot

Well, we are down to the last 2 months. Haley Elizabeth is due NEXT MONTH!!! It's really getting down the the end now and we are so excited and can't wait for the big day. Here is the latest photo for those who are interested.

Here is the latest belly picture. I am 29 and a half weeks now and I think i grow more each day. Haley is getting bigger and really kicking hard now. Before long she won't have much room to move around. This picture was taken in the nursery, it's not done yet so there will be more posts of the nursery later.
